Merry Christmas friends!  I hope that Santa was good to everyone!  I know I’m super excited to dive into my gifts under the tree, but first a little something to share with you all.  Over the course of the last eleven posts I have focused on trends and festive looks for the season upon us.  I hope you’ve enjoyed the Twelve Looks of Christmas series so far.  And now for the final Look, JustBiffi gives to you, Sleepwear!

I’m not really a pajamas kinda girl.  I’m more of an underwear and tank person at home.  But for the holidays, with the rest of the family, cute jammies are a must for Christmas morning.  I love these pj leggings!  They’re super cozy and the fair isle print is perfect for the holidays.  These leggings are part of a set, but here I’ve paired them with a simple tank top.

Every girl needs an adorable holiday robe for Christmas morning.  It’s the perfect topper over jammies, or something a little more risque.  Here I’m paired the matching fair isle printed robe to the legging set, with a beautiful red bra and black boy shorts.

I have to be honest and say I’ve always loved lingerie, but from afar.  I mean I have sexy bras and panties, but not much that’s just for bedroom time.  What I love about this chemise is that it’s sexy, soft against my skin, yet so comfortable to wear.  I love that I get support from the underwire built-in bra.  The monochromatic vibe is also very classic and chic.

I’m super into this combination of sexy unmentionables.  I love this beautiful sheer kimono, it’s the right amount of see-through, with delicate embroidery.  The shorts are part of a cami set.  The cute little ruffle detail gives them a very feminine feel.  I’m all about this bra!  I fell in love with this long line lace crop bra when the new season of Ashley Graham Collection launched.  The lace is ultra femme and so sexy.  The detail of the contrast stitching is refined, but adds life to the piece.  And my favourite part is the strapping detail, leading to the support straps.  

I know it’s kinda crossing genres, but my inspiration here was The Night Before Christmas.  No mice here, only something a little sexy to slip into, as you trim your tree (enter naughty or nice joke here).

There’s one trend that you can always count on at this time of year.  And even though we expect it, it’s fresh every time.  For Look Ten of the Twelve Looks of Christmas, I give to you, the shimmer and shine of Metallics!

This sweater is the perfect piece to add a little glimmer to an otherwise chill outfit.  It takes jeans and a tee up a notch by adding that little hint of luxe.  Also if you haven’t caught onto my love of gold yet, you’re not paying attention.

This dress takes the term LBD to the next level!  It’s the perfect combination of scuba knit (which I love!), bodycon and shine to give you a knock out night out look.  I’m a huge fan of black on black detailing.  I think it adds a lot of interest and dimension to the garment.

Keeping the metallics as the focal point of your look will add interest and sophistication.  Here I’ve paired this metallic accented crop top against black, with simple accessories to keep it at the core of my outfit.

I LOVE this skirt.  When I found it, I knew it would be such a perfect piece to add a feminine edge to any look.  We all know I love a midi skirt (see past obsessive posts). The pleats give this all over leather-look piece a softer vibe and I’m also obsessed with the perforation.

This skirt is the perfect combo of leather and lace!  The leather side panels hug your curves, giving a great frame to the lace overlay in the center.  I’m a big fan of the light pink that just peeks out from under the floral lace.  It’s girly with an edge.

Every girl needs a little black dress.  It makes you feel sexy and powerful, like the world’s yours...is that just me?  This dress is nothing but sexy!  The fabric has a slight sheen and the lace detailing gives the overall look a femme fatale vibe.

This crop top is stunning.  The lace has a silvery glimmer to it and it’s so soft.  I have to be honest, I was so surprised when I found this piece.  It’s not often that you find a delicate sheer lace top in plus sizes, let alone a crop top!  This ultra femme top is a great layering piece, but don’t be afraid to rock it on it’s own!  

Leather and lace in my opinion is always a winning combination.  What will Look Ten bring...you’ll have to check the blog tomorrow to find out!

Holiday party?  New Year’s?  Just because?  The answer to all of these questions today is, Sequins!  Adding a little shine to any outfit will add a little pop of glamour and elevate your look.  For Look Eight of the Twelve Looks of Christmas, I give to you, Sparkle!

When I found this blazer if fell in love!  It’s the perfect piece to dress up any look.  It takes jeans and a button down from basic to glam.  It’s a great topper to a simple look, and keeps the focus on the shine.

Obviously I have a thing for rose gold.  More specifically, rose gold sequins.  This is another example of letting the sequin piece take centre stage in your look.  Also sequin midi skirts are a recent trend that I'm super into.  They’re the perfect combination of my love of shimmer and the best length in a skirt.

All over sequins?  Hell yes!  Don’t be afraid to rock a full sequin look.  Nothing says luxurious like being decked out in sparkles.  The simple bodycon shape keeps the sequins close the the body and shows off your shape.

I am obsessed with this top!  The sparkle.  The mesh overlay.  The textured sweatshirt sleeves.  And what you don’t see here, is the lace back with zipper detail!  It’s a great take on the sweatshirt trend we’ve been seeing this season, with a big emphasis on mixed media.

I feel like a winter sorceress in this look.  I love the shimmer of this fringed open cardigan.  It’s a great layering piece, and set against these faux snakeskin pants, it gives a more dressed up vibe to a black-on-black outfit.

I love layering different textures.  I think it gives a lot of depth to an outfit.  Here I’ve paired a jacquard skirt, with a soft tweed blazer, over this amazing velvet and sequin shell.  Each fabric is individual, but together they read as polished and sophisticated.

This is a statement dress!  It makes me feel powerful, especially with the padded shoulders.  It’s a fabulous dress.  The black comes to life with a sequin print against a shiny black velvet.  This is the perfect holiday look, that’s a unique take on the little black dress.  

Sequins, mesh and velvet, oh my!  This is the best time of year to play with texture in your looks, and I hope you found some inspiration from these outfits.  More looks coming soon!

Nothing says effortless style like a white collared shirt.  What I love about this style is the oversized fit and draped pockets.  It’s a super versatile piece that can be worn so many ways.  The fabric is sheer and gauzy, which gives a little sex appeal to this long line blouse.  I would call this unique take on an old favourite, the new classic.

What I love about this look is the layering of white on white.  Layers of white give this monochromatic look a laid back, easy vibe.  The big cozy cream sweater, over the more sport inspired sleeveless top gives a chic feel to being bundled and comfy.

It’s no surprise that my fifth look of the Twelve Looks of Christmas, is focused around one of my favourite trends of the season.  What I love about this style of skirt is the ease of wear.  It’s a perfect length for those that are a little shy about their legs, but it also makes the legs look longer, which works well on a petite girl, like myself.  For Look Five, I give to you, the Midi Skirt!

This shimmering midi skirt is the perfect piece for the holidays.  The teal base is on trend, but the metallic touches really set this skirt apart.  It can make even the most basic outfit shine.

I am in love with the colour of this skirt!  It’s vibrant and fun, a great pop of colour against more simple, low key tones.  The lace is intricate, but not stuffy.  It’s a polished piece, yet it can be pushed to the edge.

One trend, that’s been going strong for the past few seasons, is the perfect fit for the holidays.  It’s versatile, chic and a modern play on the little black dress (LBD).  For the Forth Look of The Twelve Looks of Christmas, I give to you, the LBJ, the Little Black Jumpsuit!

I’ve been eyeing jumpsuits for a while now.  I’ve been reluctant since I’m smaller on top than on bottom.  What I love about this suit, is the cross over top, fitted elastic waist band and slightly tapered leg.  Because of the fitted waist and ease in the top, this suit is angreat fit, even on a pear shape, like myself.

Even though this jumpsuit has a fuller draped top and 3/4 length sleeves, it’s ultra sexy.  The little peekaboos of skin give it a sophisticated sex appeal.  I love the harem bottom with elasticated cuffs, which pair great with a heel or bootie. 

I have to say I may have been hesitant at first, but I am a huge fan of the jumpsuit.  It’s easy to wear, comfortable, one step dressing and chic.  What I like best it that is can be pushed either to the classic, or more edgy side.  And it’s a great alternative to the LBD.

Rich colours are one of my favourite winter trends.  These hues are deep and saturated, giving life to pale skin during the colder months.  These pieces also tend to come in beautifully textured fabrications, perfect for the holiday season!  For Look Three of The Twelve Looks of Christmas, I give to you, Jewel Tones.

I’m so in love with the colour of this top.  The cobalt has a great depth of colour.  The slight A-line fit, gives an easy silhouette, that can be paired with any number of bottoms.  I also love the soft knit fabric, which feels like wearing your favourite worn-in tee.

This midi dress is a perfect piece to dress up for the holidays.  The burgundy is lush, with slight variations of colour within the paisley print.  The fabric also follows the details of the print, giving it a brocade texture.

I’m a sucker for emerald green!  The colour is luscious and super complimentary against my skin tone.  I feel like a goddess in this dress!  The fit is ultra feminine and the fabric is silky without being clingy.  It’s the perfect cocktail dress for any fancy holiday occasion.

Nothing says festive, like the colour red.  For Look Two of The Twelve Looks of Christmas, I get in to the spirit, decked in the classic holiday colour.

I love this party dress.  The red is fantastic, rich but bright.  The fit is perfect, nipped in the right places, with just enough fullness in the skirt.  It has pockets, which I LOVE in a dress!  And the cutouts give this otherwise too-cute dress a bit of sex appeal.

I had the good fortune of wearing this layered, cropped shirt early, as a mblm mbassador.  The one I have here is a sample, but now this ultra versatile top is in stores!  I love this shade of red, with a hint of orange in its undertone.  It’s also super on trend for the season.

‘Tis the season!  In honour of my love of the holidays, I have created, The Twelve Looks of Christmas!  Starting today, for the next few weeks leading up to December 25th!  Each post will focus around a key trend or theme for the holiday season.  

For The First Look of Christmas, JustBiffi give to you, coats!  It’s getting colder out there and it's time to bundle up!  As a person that loves to layer, I've always loved outwear.  This season outerwear pieces have become statement looks onto  themselves.  Great textures, details and shapes.  Here are a few of my favourite trends.

Cocoon shapes give a great modern shape to outerwear.  It’s an edgier take on a longer line coat, that will definitely keep you warm!  Here I paired this marbled black coat with a similarly marbled scarf for a very monochromatic look.

I am obsessed with capes!  I feel like I have been looking for the perfect cape for so long, and I could not be happier with this one!  It has a moulded shoulder, rib detailing and pockets (let the chorus sing)!  The leather detailing on the welt pocket is also a sophisticated touch, that I appreciate.

White coats in the winter have always scared me.  I travel on public transit, and the TTC and white doesn’t always mix.  But what I love on this occasional jacket, is that the white is the backdrop to this gorgeous tartan.  This piece is classic, but far from stuffy.  It winks at Chanel, but has a distinct edge.
